Sunsational Tan was founded in 1995 by Brian Homerosky, a veteran who believed Pittsburgh deserved a tanning experience built on service, not shortcuts. After serving his country, Brian brought that same discipline and care to a single South Hills salon: spotless rooms, the best equipment he could find, and a team that treats every guest by name.
His goal was simple, and it has never changed, to give every guest the best experience and the best service, every time. That veteran's sense of integrity, consistency and community is still the backbone of everything we do, more than thirty years later.

Today, Brian's son Austin Homerosky helps lead Sunsational Tan into its next chapter. An attorney by training, Austin brings a sharp eye and a genuine passion for the business: raising the standard at every location, adding the services guests love like red light therapy and wellness, and growing Sunsational Tan into the best tanning salon in Pittsburgh, and beyond.
Father and son share one goal, to keep earning your trust one visit at a time, while expanding what a neighborhood tanning salon can be.

This is where it started. In 1995, Brian Homerosky opened the doors to the very first Sunsational Tan on West Pike Street in Canonsburg. One veteran, one small storefront, and one promise that has never changed: the best experience, every single visit.
Three decades later, that original salon is still open, and it is still the heart of everything we do. You can visit it yourself as our Canonsburg location, the salon where the whole Sunsational Tan story began.

I’ve been tanning here for years!!! The beds are always so clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are fair!!! Totally worth it to have a cocoa glow all year long
I’m super new to the whole tanning bed thing and I was super nervous my first time. All 4 girls I spoke with were super nice and so informative and didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions! Everything there was so clean and I felt super comfortable. Definitely going back!
