Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Sunsational Tan website and services. Sunsational Tan salons are owned and operated by Cheryl Lynn & Co., Inc. and ST Pittsburgh LLC (together, “Sunsational Tan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our site, booking a session, or purchasing a membership or product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

Our Services

Sunsational Tan provides tanning and wellness services, including UV tanning, sunless spray tanning, red light therapy, and select recovery services, at our locations across the Pittsburgh South Hills. Services, equipment, and availability vary by location and may change.

Eligibility & Age Requirements

The minimum age to tan is 17 years old with parental consent. Valid photo ID is required, and you are responsible for providing accurate information and for activity under your account.

Memberships & Billing

Memberships are offered on the terms presented at sign-up. Memberships automatically renew monthly until cancelled or frozen. You will be billed on the same calendar day you originally enrolled. Memberships started on the 29th, 30th, or 31st will bill on the 28th of each month. By enrolling, you authorize Sunsational Tan to charge your payment method for applicable membership fees, taxes, and authorized charges.

Freezing & Cancelling Memberships

Memberships may be frozen for a $5 monthly fee or cancelled with one full billing cycle’s notice. Freezes must be requested through our website, while cancellations must be completed in person at a Sunsational Tan location. The $5 monthly freeze fee is credited back to the client’s account when the membership successfully processes on the first billing attempt after unfreezing. This credit may be used toward a bottle of tanning lotion on the day of unfreezing, or qualifying upgrades at any time thereafter. Your individual membership agreement governs your specific terms; the terms above generally apply unless otherwise stated in your contract. Any outstanding balance must be paid before cancellation.

Promotions & the Free Week

Promotional offers, including the free week, are for new local residents, 18 and over, one time only, with valid identification, and may be subject to additional restrictions. Offers cannot be combined unless stated and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

Indoor UV tanning carries inherent health risks, including an increased risk of skin cancer, burns, premature skin aging, and eye injury. Protective eyewear is required for all UV sessions, and clients agree to follow all posted rules, recommended exposure times, and staff instructions. Red light therapy and other wellness services are provided for cosmetic and general wellness purposes only and are not medical treatments.

By using any Sunsational Tan service or equipment, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the potential risks and voluntarily choose to participate. You assume all known and unknown risks associated with the use of our services and equipment, including risks resulting from failure to follow instructions, and agree to use the services at your own risk. Clients are responsible for informing staff of any medical condition, medication, or other circumstance that may affect their use of our services, and should consult a physician when appropriate.

Conduct

Clients are expected to treat Sunsational Tan employees, other clients, and property with respect. Harassment, threats, abusive or inappropriate behavior, damage to property, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Sunsational Tan reserves the right to refuse service, suspend or terminate memberships, and/or require a client to leave the premises for violations of this policy, subject to applicable law.

Products & Purchases

Products, lotions, and gift cards are subject to availability and any posted terms. All sales may be final except as required by law or as stated at the time of purchase.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to Sunsational Tan and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without our written permission.

Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites and tools we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ST Pittsburgh and Cheryl Lynn & Co., and their respective owners, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our website, services, facilities, or equipment. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ST Pittsburgh and Cheryl Lynn & Co., and their respective owners, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of our services, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Pennsylvania, unless otherwise required by applicable law. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here with an updated date. Your continued use of our site or services means you accept the updated Terms.
